How it works?
Whether you want to buy, or sell your product from a black-owned business, it’s all possible on Black-owned Marketplace :
- As a CUSTOMER, start shopping and checkout as a guest, or create a free account. You can also become an affiliate and earn commission on all vendors’ sales you refer, and represent the platform in your region.
- As a VENDOR, to open your store on our platform, fill out the vendor registration form, then setup your store, and start posting and selling your products. Your store will be reviewed and removed if it doesn’t meet our criteria as black-owned business.
A vendor can also become an affiliate at the same time.
Absolutely nothing, Zero, $0.0 ! – And it will ALWAYS be this way ! All you need is to submit an application for a vendor account on the vendor registration page. Again, It’s FREE and it will always be. This is about helping the black community, and supporting black-owned businesses. We are not about making profit.
We trust PayPal for handling all payments on our website. Clients can use their Credit or Debit Card to make purchases, or they can also use their PayPal account if they have one.
Vendors receive their payments in their PayPal account as well.
- If you have the Free membership, BOmarket charges a $0.99 commission fee per transaction. This is a small portion to help us maintain your store and cover fees to run the website.
- If you have the Paid membership, there is no per-sale fee charged.
You will need a PayPal account to receive your payments. You can create one for free on the PayPal website. PayPal charges a 1% + $0.30 processing fee for each withdraw request made. The order status must be at the “Completed” stage before you can request a withdraw.
Each vendor has its own shipping and refund policy. Please check a specific vendor page to learn more.
Simply submit an affiliate application, and once approved, you get your affiliate link. Every time a vendor registers using your affiliate link, it’s added to your profile and you get a commission on all this vendor’s future sales.
Vendors can also become an Affiliate at the same time, and get the same benefits.
